Shingle Roofing

Roofing Shingles are flat or curved rectangular pieces of roofing material that interlock or overlap to channel water off a pitched roof. The most common shingles are made from layered fiberglass and asphalt and topped with a granule coating for resilience. Shingles are cost effective and are installed quickly but offer less insulation and can be less resilient to wind and weather than other roofing systems.
