Coating a roof can be an environmentally friendly alternative to tearing off an old existing roof and is more cost effective than an entire re-roof. A roof coating will prolong the life of an existing roof. Covering a grey or black roof with a white or reflecting roof coating will greatly reduce heat absorption which will reduce energy costs.
